The next advancement in aiming has arrived. The S.O.S. (Stability Optimization System) has been designed to remove unwanted movement from your sight picture. The technology behind the S.O.S. is commonly used to balance skyscrapers, powerlines, automobiles, medical devices, spacecrafts, and in countless other fields where stability is a necessity.   

The S.O.S. Hunter Elite has been designed specifically for 3-5 ounces of weight. Your base cap weighs 2 ounces along with the larger removable weight. The smaller removable weight weighs 1 ounce. If you feel like the unit over-corrects your aim, remove an ounce at a time. If you remove too many ounces, you will feel like the S.O.S. is not doing enough to help in which case add weight back on 1 ounce at a time.

The Hunter Elite can mount on the front or rear of your riser, and on either side depending on your dexterity. This means you have the ability to find the mounting position that brings the most benefit to your balance while negating pin float. 
 

Tuning Tips: 

If your typical aiming pattern is an up and down movement, you will want to set the weak axis of the wire to be positioned vertically. This will allow the unit to flex vertically and balance your aim. Vice a versa, if your aiming pattern is more left and right, you’ll want to have the weak axis positioned horizontally. To adjust the orientation of the wires, use the 1/4″ Allen Wrench provided to loosen the 5/16-24 bolt connecting the wire unit to the mounting bracket, position to the correct orientation and tighten the bolt back to snug.
