A rare find! This "dual" use pastry crimper is made in Germany. The serrated wheel on one end trims excess dough, & the "crimping" mechanism on the opposite end creates perfectly sealed edges on pastries, dumplings, homemade ravioli, and more.
These antique pastry tools were produced from solid brass & steel in the 1800s.
Antique pieces often show a natural patina or tarnish due to their age. This one is in very good condition.
Lightly used 50+ years ago, in my lifetime, when my "Noni" use to make potato gnocchi! It's an antique, at least 100 years old, easy.
