Astrowar by Dimax was only released in PAL regions and never had an NTSC cartridge — until now. This is the first-ever NTSC cartridge release of Astrowar.
An old NTSC dump once circulated, but the Dimax logo had been hacked out, leaving only the “X” used for the lives display. For this edition, the proper Dimax logo was restored pixel-perfect from the original PAL cartridge. The NTSC ROM is not available online and exists only on these 20 carts.
This listing is for a special variant edition from the 20-copy run, #3 of 20. These variants feature upgraded holographic labels and colored cartridge shells and are individually numbered. Exclusive to the Eightbit Store and sold only on Mercari. Includes brand new PCBs and beautiful machine-cut front and end labels.
Works on original Atari 2600/VCS and 7800 consoles, as well as the new Atari 2600+ and 7800+.
