Large Crystal pear is a variety of pear with round or slightly flattened fruits, featuring a regular and uniform shape. The average fruit weight is about 300 grams, with larger fruits reaching up to 850 grams. In the early stages of growth, the fruit is dark green, gradually turning a milky yellow as it ripens. The skin is thin and translucent, giving it a bright, shiny appearance. When bagged, the skin turns light yellow, with relatively large but sparse lenticels, resulting in a clean, attractive, and slightly transparent appearance.
The flesh is white, with a fine and tender texture, containing very few stone cells. It is juicy, with a soluble solid content of around 14%, low acidity, and a sweet taste of excellent quality.
