Each unit is hand blown from borosilicate glass, the glass of choice by cafés, restaurants, and even scientists. Borosilicate glass contains boron trioxide so it is very adaptable to thermal expansion meaning it won't crack under extreme temperatures like regular glass making it the perfect material used in Siphon Coffee Makers.
