Works with the INTERACTIVE LEARNING RAILWAY engines that are made of metal & have the metal contacts on the underside.
I do not have one of these interactive trains to test the destinations with, but I did test each w/ batteries.
The cargo stations do make cargo loading sounds & the engine wash makes wash sounds. I touched the metal contacts with my finger & they did sound some messages to individual trains.
Batteries not included.
Sorry, I do not have the cargo accessories or soap tanker car for the destinations.
